Making sense of drug safety. For everyone, everywhere.

Because drug safety only works when people understand it.

Who We Are

At Éirim Global, we believe “global” doesn’t just mean geography. It means patients, clinicians, and companies. It means everyone involved in drug safety, wherever they are and whatever their role. From heads of safety to site staff.
From clinicians to patients and communities.
Everyone’s role is connected – patients, clinicians and companies all need to understand how drug safety works. That shared understanding strengthens the whole safety system.Éirim Global helps make that possible

Why Éirim Global

Every medicine has benefits and risks.Drug Safety professionals continuously evaluate the balance between benefits and risks. Their assessments rely heavily on the accuracy of the data provided, which is only accurate at the time it is analysed. Benefit-Risk is always subject to change.During COVID, whilst regulators and companies continued to speak of benefit-risk, ‘continuous monitoring’ and ‘potential to change as more data becomes available’ often the messages were filtered and people were told that vaccines were “safe” because governments and clinicians wanted to reassure populations. The opportunity to proactively explain to the general public the concept of benefit risk and the commitment of companies and regulators to safety science was lost. This meant that when some people experienced inevitable serious side effects, because the concept of benefit risk had not been widely explained, trust broke down.We believe an opportunity was missed to explain the robust science that drug safety departments and regulators use every day to assess benefit-risk.Éirim Global wants to use these learnings and strengthen knowledge for everyone involved in making drug safety work. We work with companies, clinicians, and patients to build trust through clarity, shared understanding, and practical support. At the centre of it all is patient safety.
